Service Description: We are a consumer organization that encourages its members to live full and independent lives.
Mission Statement: BSCB seeks full participation in all aspects of American society for blind and visually impaired individuals.
Membership Fee:
$12.00 per year
Eligibility Requirements: None other than payment of dues.
Area Served:
Massachusetts
Services Offered: Newsletters, regular meetings and social gatherings, assistance with advocacy.
Events: Spring Convention, Fall Conference, and summertime and holiday parties.
Organization History: BSCB has been assisting blind and visually impaired persons to live fuller lives since the mid 1970's. We are an affiliate of the American Council of the blind which has been working toward this goal for over 40 years. Through collective action, we have helped to change what it means to be blind.
