Financial Aid: CCI offers one merit-based scholarship annually of $1,000 toward the program fee. Applications are due March 1 for the following academic year
Setting: CCI offers three month, semester and academic year high school programs in 17 countries. Placements may be made throughout the country of choice

Program fees start at $3,690 and go up to $18,000, depending on program length and destination. Program fees include placement with a local high school and a carefully screened host family, supervision and emergency support and comprehensive health and accident insurance. Air fare and pocket money are additional and not included in the fee.

CCI participants live with a carefully screened, welcoming host family and attend a local high school, experiencing the day to day life in the country they choose.

Founded in 1985, the Center for Cultural Interchange is a nonprofit international exchange organization dedicated to helping young people experience the joy of discovery through world travel. We have over 20 years of experience in providing quality exchange programs and have served thousands of students.

CCI is recognized by the Department of State as an Offical Exchange Visitor program, and is granted full listing by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET). CCI is also a member of the Federation of International Youth Travel Organizations (FIYTO) and the National Association of Foreign Study Advisors (NAFSA).

Few adventures a high school student could embark on could be as exciting and rewarding as a high school exchange program. The experience of adjusting to a new environment leaves exchange students with greater maturity and self-awareness. By the end of their time abroad, exchange students are expertly informed on another culture, better prepared for college admissions, and perhaps even fluent in another language.
