School History

Based on a 10 year vision to see a Christian high school established in southern Wilmington, a board was established in 2005 and the non-profit organization was formed.  The board secured a space to have the school set up (Temple Baptist Activity Center) and an Administrator (Kirk Nielsen) and plans were made to open in August of 2006 for grades 9-11.  The School began in August 2006 with 38 students and grew to 42 that first year.  In August of 2007 the school began with 81 students in grades 9-12.  This is the first graduating class who had 100% acceptance in the college of their choice.
