Focus: The Plantation is an authentic 18th century farmsite with historic buildings, interpreters in colonial attire, farm animals proper to the time and craft demonstrations. Open to the public on weekends mid April to mid November. Group tours & workshops available weekdays by pre-arrangement

Weekend special events for 2008 include:

Military programs: French & Indian War Encampment on April 12 and Revolutionary War Encampment May 3&4. Civil War Re-enactment Sept. 27 & 28.

Children's Programs: Spring Fun Day April 26, Kid's Farm Day May 17, Summertime Splash Day July 19 and School Blues Fun Daze Sept. 13.

Other unusual events: Medieval Days Oct. 18 & 19 Ghost Tours Oct. 24, 25 & 31 Wassail Tour Nov. 28, 29, & 30
