The challenge is unique and very different from most that I have been through. It's surely a lifetime experience. The homestay allowed me to interact and communicate with the locals, not only to understand their habits and daily lives, but also really know and make friends with them. Awesome!

15 day Multi-Element, Summer 2006
It was fun, and I became a lot better surfer. It's a great environment for bettering yourself as a surfer. You're here for fifteen days focusing on nothing else. If I was at home, I'd maybe go out for an hour and a half one day a week. Here, I'm out a minimum of three hours a day. The waves are so consistent. The instructors are great. Everyone in our course got up their first time with an instructor. I got ride the wave of my life-actually I got to ride the three waves of my life.

15 day Surf Intensive, Summer 2006
It was challenging and fulfilling-essentials for growth. Hiking was really hard and challenging. The hiking portion was really well-done-following through on the curriculum-being taught about where we are, and what we're seeing. It was physically challenging and I was already in really good shape, and I liked the great views and helpful guides. The course was overall well-balanced, and the transitions between parts of the trip were great. The flow was really good. The SCUBA part was awesome. The dives were really planned out and it was all beautiful. I definitely improved my surfing. Learned how to ride a shortboard, duck-dive and a lot of other stuff. There was a great variety of waves, and the instructors taking videos was cool. I could see what I was doing wrong.
