Notes: We also offer Traveling Science Workshops, where you can extend the museum experience by bringing the wonder and excitement of the Science Discovery Museum to your classroom. Student learning is energized with a 45-minute, hands-on, Traveling Science Workshop that explores a K-6 science curriculum theme. Eleven different topics offer something for everyone

Major Exhibits
Kids will want to begin their visit outside with the large parabolic whisper dishes and a variety of sound and music exhibits. From the Light and Color Room to the Science Circus to the Math Room to the Sound and Communications Area, there are plenty of opportunities for hands-on experimenting with the basic sciences and math

Class Trip Programs:
Founded on the principle of scientific inquiry, the Science Discovery Museum offers hands-on exhibits that provide a multitude of avenues for individual or group exploration serving elementary, middle and high school students. Housed in an award winning building, the exhibits cover a range of science topics, including many of the Learning Standards outlined by the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks. Call and ask for a brochure outlining details about three unique field trip experiences offered to students
