In recognizing the God-given responsibility that parents have for the education and general development of their children, Faith Baptist Church established Faith Christian School to assist parents in the education of their children. It is the objective of FCS to build upon the home's foundation with an education which provides the students maximum development spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

There are two primary tenets of Faith Christian School's philosophy of education. The first is that "All Truth is God's Truth."
Learning apart from God is incomplete. Therefore, the Lord is a natural part of each and every day.

The second tenet of our philosophy of education is that God has given the responsibility of a child's education to the parent.

We view our school as the parent's right arm, assisting their parental responsibility without usurping it. Parental concerns and opinions are an important part of each child's education and will not be ignored. We have an "Open Communication" policy inviting parents to share any concerns or desires they may have at any time. The result is a team spirit with parents and teachers working together for a common goal: the development of the child.

Faith Christian School has been in operation under the sponsorship of Faith Baptist Church for over 30 years. FCS traces its roots back to the heart of the city of Trenton. Over 30 years ago Trenton Christian Day School was established. Faith Baptist Church assumed responsibility for the school, changed its name, and moved it to its present location on Kuser Rd in Hamilton, NJ. Faith Christian School opened its doors in September of 1974.

Since the inception of Faith Christian School, the administrator, teachers, and staff have all been selected not only because of their ability to contribute to providing a quality, Christian educational experience, but also because they know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and endeavor to exhibit the best possible example to our students.

Our teachers meet high moral and spiritual qualifications. They each are faithful members of Bible believing churches. We firmly believe that a teacher's personal walk with Christ is essential to his/her success as an educator.

Because of our commitment to working closely with parents we have recently provided our parents with the services of InfoDirect. This allows our parents the ability to see grades, homework assignments, the school calendar, and so much more 24 hours a day from the comfort of their own home! InfoDirect is one more step towards building a partnership with parents!
