Curriculum

At FBBA, there is a Christian view of every subject and truth. Our educational program is Christian in its essence, as evidenced in every classroom as well as in the lives and thinking of our teachers and staff. Curriculum is designed to provide a superior spiritual and intellectual environment for each student. Students receive an academically challenging course of study with textbook selections that incorporate the best curricula available without jeopardizing our Biblical convictions. An honors degree program and Advanced Placement classes are offered at the high school level. Middle school students with accelerated educational development may earn high school credit in the math and language areas.

School Championships

As a TAPPS 5A school, FBBA fields over 36 middle and high school teams. Over 70% of our middle and high school students participate in the sports program. Recent sports recognitions include Softball State Championship, Boys Soccer State Championship, and several final 4 appearances by various teams.

Additionally, FBBA students compete at the state level for various fine arts and academic competitions.

School History

Fort Bend Baptist Academy was founded in 1987 as a ministry of a local church. In 1992, FBBA became an independent 501(c)(3) educational organization. The school has grown from an initial enrollment of seven kindergarten students to almost 900 today. Our students attend over 100 area churches and serve in a variety of community service organizations in Fort Bend County and the Houston area. Sought after by colleges throughout Texas, as well as the nation, FBBA students are well prepared for the rigors of a college education and a lifetime of service to their communities. Celebrating over twenty years of serving the Fort Bend County and southwest Houston community, our school system is housed on three campuses in the heart of Sugar Land.
