Focus: The mission of The Great Lakes Museum of Military History is to educate people about the military heritage of this and other nations as well as to preserve, restore and display military memorabilia from the Revolutionary War to the present.

Costs: Adults $3, veterans, seniors & kids $2. All military & under 8 free
Notes: We can help with student research on topics military. Our archives of photos and documents are available for copying as is the reference library. It is suggested that students make an appointment with the Director of Educational Service, Dennis Yackus, for this service.

Major Exhibits
Rev. War & Civil War. WWI, WWII, Vietnam and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Archive and reference library. Occasional military vehicle displays. Occasional living history programs.

An expanded Revolutionary War display will be ready for the 2007 spring tour season.

Programs

Class Trip Programs
We will work with teachers to provide pre and post-tests. Our pre-planned tours can be docented. By request, we can have our docents focus on selected eras of military history. By request, tours can be held in the evening and during times that the Museum is normally closed.

Class Trip Pricing
Tours are $1 per child with chaperones and teachers free.
