Information

The Gulf Coast Exploreum is a premiere science center in the area. Located in historic downtown Mobile, the Exploreum houses the only Domed IMAX® Theater, the only full-scale science lab where students can participate in experiments, and the only 3D virtual theater on the Gulf Coast! Two permanent exhibit galleries, Hands On Hall and Minds On Hall, are filled with more than 100 science exhibits. The Exploreum also hosts traveling science and cultural exhibits. Past exhibits include China! 7000 Years of Innovation, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Animal Grossology and Mummy: the inside story. The current IMAX® film is Roving Mars, along with the current exhibit Football: The Exhibit. Next up -A Day in Pompeii and Greece: Secrets of the Past- January 12 - June 3, 2007!
