School History: Begun during the summer of 2006 by a group of Christian educators and parents who were concerned about the hearts of children who needed a safe "Harbor" to learn and grow in

We endeavor to teach and train in areas of knowledge in order that our students will become Christ-honoring citizens. As we touch the hearts and lives of your children, our desire and prayer is that they become responsible in their walk with the Lord and achieve their individual, highest potential academically.

Harbor exists not only to protect children from a hostile secular environment but also to educate them in Biblical principles; not just to place them in the presence of Godly teachers but to educate them in Godly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding; not just to memorize Bible verses but to educate them to make choices that are rooted in a faith commitment to Jesus Christ and grounded on the truth of the Scriptures they have learned.

School hours are 8:00-3:00.  Physical Education 3 days per week.  Students generally do not have homework unless they fail to finish their goals for the day. In that case they finish at home what they did not finish at school. Occasional special projects, such a book reports, are done at home as well.

The ACE curriculum is an individualized program that works extremely well for both those that struggle academically due to different issues (ADD, ADHD, sensory) and those that work consistently on or above level.

It allows students to accelerate in the subjects they are good at and take extra time for the subjects that are a struggle.  We employ certified teachers that have a heart for education, but more importantly, they have a genuine love for Christ that they emphasize to each student.  Chapel service every Tuesday morning.
