Focus:
Heritage Park Zoo is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary, dedicated to the conservation and protection of native and exotic animals. Located in scenic Prescott, Arizona, the zoo provides a source of recreation, education and entertainment for all ages. With the mission of "Conservation through Education," Heritage Park Zoo provides a unique and up-close experience with animals visitors may see nowhere else.

Costs: 3-12yrs $5, 13 - 64yrs $8, 64+yrs $7. under 3 free
Major Exhibits: Animals at Heritage Park Zoo all have a story and lesson to teach. Most are incapacitated and rescued from the wild or from inappropriate captive situations. At the zoo, the animals are respectfully displayed in natural habitats intended to educate the public on a variety of topics

As a volunteer and donation-based organization we rely on the kindest of others. By taking your students to the zoo not only are they going to have an exceptional experience, the money given will be used to help run our facility, feed, and shelter our animals.

Class Trip Programs
Zoo provides tours, on site programs as well as outreach. Students will have the opportunity to have an upclose encounter with one or more of our educational animals. Lessons are developed to have a theme, age appropriate, and under the state standards for education.
Class Trip Pricing:
Currently tours and on site programs are 50 cents extra the cost of admission per person. Outreach pricing is going to change but if schedule now will only be 40 dollars a class. |
