Focus: Historic Fort Steuben is a reconstruction on the original site of the 1787 fort built to protect the surveyors of the Northwest Territory. Exhibits include history of western settlement of the US as well as more recent military history

Cost: Adults: $5; Children: $3; special group rates
Notes: For an additional $1/person, classes may visit the adjacent First Federal Land Office, the original 1801 structure that houses furnishings of the period as well as documents from land grants and purchases


Exhibits

Major Exhibits:
Reconstructed Fort Steuben featuring the Officers' Quarters, Enlisted Men's Quarters, Hospital, Quartermaster, and Blacksmith buildings. Exhibit hall has information on the Northwest Territory, surveying, and the Louis and Clark Expedition.
