Mission Statement

Holy Cross Episcopal School of Montgomery, recognizing the God-given gifts and abilities of all persons, seeks to develop these gifts by creating a Christian community in the Episcopal tradition and by providing a nurturing environment in which students of all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds grow spiritually, intellectually, and physically.

School History

Holy Cross was founded in 1998 and offers a stimulating liberal arts program in a caring, Christian community, challenging and nurturing each child. Class sizes are small and a variety of teaching methods are used. With rigorous academics, a commitment to the arts, and spiritual nurturing, our program is designed to instill confidence, self-discipline, responsibility, intellectual curiosity and sensitivity to others.

The lower grades focus on developing a solid foundation in basic skills while integrating enriching and stimulating experience in art, music, computer, Spanish, PE, and community service into the curriculum. Building on this strong foundation, the upper grades delve deeper into content areas.

Enrichment education continues in fine arts, Spanish, PE, and computer instruction as well as community service along with an introduction to the emphasis of theater production through our “Shakespeare Can Be Fun” program.
