Focus: The mission of the Jewish Museum of Florida is to collect, preserve and interpret the material evidence of the Florida Jewish experience from 1763 to the present. Our focus is to explore the richness, diversity, complexities and legacies of the Jewish contributions in Florida historically and culturally within the nation and throughout world. We seek to illuminate the diversity that exists in Florida by providing a lens through which history is
viewed. The Museum depicts the immigrant experience and acculturation process of everyone's family; a shared experience as illustrated through our exhibitions, public programs and collection of archival materials. Our educational programs are rooted in the
benchmarks and desired outcomes of the Florida Sunshine State standards and the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. Participants in our Museum experience soon recognize themselves in our stories and remark: “We are more alike than different.”
Ages: Programming suitable for all ages – students to adults.
Pricing: Adults $6.00; Senior/Student $5.00; Family $12.00
