John Tracy Clinic is a pioneering organization in parent-centered, speech and language education and assessment for infants and preschool children with a hearing loss.
It is the largest private provider of services for deaf children in the world and the only education center of its kind with all family services free of charge. A 501 (c)3 non-profit organization, John Tracy Clinic offers audiological assessments, community hearing screenings, parent/infant classes and counseling, as well as summer sessions, preschool and an accredited master's and credential program in collaboration with the University of San Diego.
In addition, its correspondence courses serve annually over 2,500 families in as many as 140 countries around the world. John Tracy Clinic relies entirely on the compassion and generosity of individuals and volunteer support groups, as well as on grants from corporations and foundations. |

Organization History: Organization History After Spencer and Louise Tracy's infant son was diagnosed with profound hearing loss in 1925, Mrs. Tracy devoted her life to studying how deaf children could be taught to communicate with the hearing and speaking world. In 1942, she responded to a desperate call for help from twelve other mothers of young deaf children by founding John Tracy Clinic
