KND seeks to enable our students to forge a lifelong relationship with Israel and the Jewish people. KND seeks to develop %93world-consciousness%94 with the goal of encouraging our students to make direct future contributions to the international community both as citizens of their home countries and as members of the Jewish People.

School Information:
Classes meet 4.5 hours total each week between each international trip from our base in Jerusalem, Israel. Students take 4 courses, Arabic, Hebrew, Middle East Studies, and a course in Civilization, a multi-disciplinary preparation for the trips abroad.

Curriculum Highlights:
KND travels across half of the globe to gain understanding of both other nations, religions, and cultures and of their Jewish communities in particular. Further, it is our goal to develop an abiding sense of social responsibility to those in need. In Israel, we introduce our students to the challenges and potentialities of Arab-Jewish co-existence.

Setting:
KND believes that educated young Diaspora Jews can be the Zionists of the 21st century, who will be embraced by all freedom-loving and democracy-building people. We expect our students to be strong, confident and hopeful advocates for a peaceful Middle East based upon mutual acceptance and cooperation.
