The MIT Museum presents exhibitions and public programs designed to engage and entertain. Robots, holography, MIT lore, and cutting-edge exhibits blending art and technology draw visitors from around the world. Specialty museum store on site/ School group programs are available.

Notes: Each of the group programs connects to the Massachusetts State Curriculum frameworks in Science and Technology/Engineering with specific connections to the Physics, Chemistry and Biology curricula.

Exhibits for 06/07:
Expansion of new floor of the MIT Museum will open in the summer of 2007. The exploratory exhibits will showcase research in the areas of the life sciences, transportation and remote underwater vehicles.

Here Comes the Sun
Hands-on activities and discussion about circuits, silicon, light, heat and electricity help students udnersant renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
In the Blink of an Eye
Challenging students to explore the world of stroboscopy and guided tour of the Museum's exhibition "Flashes of Inspiration: The Work of Harold Edgerton"
Color My World
Teaches students about frequencies of the visible light spectrum. Students assemble tak -home spectroscope from recycled materials.
