Major Exhibits: 209 acre Arboretum (a "living tree museum") showcasing native ecosystems and Oak Savanna habitats of the Southern Willamette Valley. Students and adults can walk along the well-groomed River Trail and come to the Arboretum's "Water Garden" to see Western Pond Turtles, dragonflies, pond lilies, muskrats, and much more in their native habitats.

The Arboretum's mission is to establish, perpetuate and maintain an Arboretum of the highest quality and beauty for the public benefit.... to promote conservation, research and awareness of ecology, and to encourage and assist education on all levels in the natural sciences and the arts. The Arboretum has something to delight everyone. Riverside trails, quiet paths through evergreen forests, a water garden teeming with life and open views across camas-filled meadows await your discovery. It is a favorite destination for hikers, picnickers, and nature lovers of all ages

Class Trip Programs
Outdoor Education for grades K - 5 in the Spring and Fall. Tours for other grades or groups also available by request. Tour themes for K-5 include: "Life Cycles", "Habitat Hunt", "Tree Talk", "Wet & Wild", and "Web of Life."

Class Trip Pricing
$2.50 per student for morning tour. $4.50 per student for all day tour.
