NAMI Tri-Valley Monthly Meeting

All meetings are held at the Livermore Public Library on the first Monday of each month except for September (Labor Day) and December. The meetings run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as a guest speaker is invited to present in his/her area of expertise.

Established in 2005, NAMI Tri-Valley is a new affiliate, one of over 1,100 nationally. NAMI stands for National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI Tri-Valley is a 501 C3 nonprofit organization

NAMI Tri-Valley provides resources and support for families and their loved ones diagnosed with serious and persisent mental illnesses. We address all ages, including (but not exclusively) mood disorders/bipolar disorder in children. Mental illness can be bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorders, post traumatic stress disorder to name a few. Stigma is a major barrier to many in finding help as mental illness is treatable
