School History: BlueSky opened in the fall of 2001. In 2004-05 it finished with 56 students, and has now grown to over 800 full time students. It is the largest online charter school in Minnesota, and yet maintains close personal contact with all students and their families. BlueSky does NOT advertise, but relies on word of mouth for new students.

BlueSky believes that for students to succeed, they need support.  We only employ full time teachers, counselors, social workers, and administrators whose full time jobs are to work with the students at BlueSky.  Help is available 7 days a week.
