"I just need to let you know how important an impact your book has made on my 36 year old son. He has been having conflict with his 16 year old daughter. I gave him your book to read and it is beginning to turn their relationship around. He has faced his fear of realizing that she does not have to be 'PERFECT'. She is really a good kid. Your book has released a lot of pressure off both of them. Bless you."

"Wanted you to know I read your book and WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a must read for all victims/survivors of domestic violence/abuse."
Barbara Baker, President, TEAMCares Inc.
"This is a great book - there are a number of anger books on the market, which I have, but I find yours (Dr. Puff's) extremely concise, right to the point. It has everything in it that folks need - It gets right to the core of where the work (with anger management) needs to be."
David McMillin, MFCC, host of Strategies for Living
I have been successfully helping individuals and families for over 20 years. I am a clinical psychologist in private practice, working with adults, adolescents, and children as young as two years old. My approach to therapy is holistic, encompassing the thoughts, emotions, physical health, nutrition, and relationships of the individual. I teach my clients to tap into their emotions, manage their stress, and heal from traumatic experiences.
Over the past several years, I have spoken on over two hundred radio and TV talk shows. I have been interviewed by news reporters and have consulted with businesses and organizations. These people seek my expertise on various psychological topics including: parenting, relationship issues, depression, healing from past traumas, stress and anger management.
I am the author of the critically acclaimed book entitled Anger Work: How To Express Your Anger and Still Be Kind. My goal in Anger Work is to help people use their anger to heal and not hurt. I teach people how to be kind in all situations, even when they are angry. If you do this you will enrich not only your own life, but also the lives of those around you.
The following passages are a couple of quotes from my book:
- "If an emotional wound is cleansed well, and allowed to heal completely, all that is left is a memory. This memory, like a old scar, does not hurt." (p.101)
- "Do not feed your soul the emotional equivalent to a "junk food" diet! The positive, joyful, inspiring things that you expose yourself to are the emotional equivalent to vegetables. Don't forget to eat your veggies." (p. 91)
As a counselor, my goal for every individual is to help them become whole, healthy, and live a fully-functional life, with much joy, and an overall sense of well-being and on-going growth. Not everyone wants to go this far, but for those who do, I am ready to help on the journey.
