Exhibits

Major Exhibits: 
The Memorial Museum takes visitors back to experience the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City through the voices, images and artifacts of family members, survivors and rescue workers. The exhibit takes visitors through the hours, days, weeks, months and years that have followed, showing the hope bourn of tragedy and a community's and nation's resilience in the face of terrorism.

Class Trips

Class Trip Programs:
The following programs are available for groups at no additional charge by appointment:

Symbolic Interpretive Talk with National Park Service Ranger (available by appt. on Outdoor Site)

First Person: Stories of Hope - this program allows your students to hear first-hand from someone directly impacted by the bombing. The incredible stories of strength and hope these speakers bring to your students is complemented by a Q&A session, bringing greater understanding of the impact of the event to your students. This program is also available as a distance learning opportunity which can be videoconferenced to your school, and can be a single speaker or a panel.

Preserving History: A Tour of the Memorial Archives - this program allows your students a sneak peek at the almost one million items in the Memorial's collection. The Oklahoma City National Memorial archives collects primary documents, images, videos, personal items, artifacts, evidentiary pieces and much more relating to the Oklahoma City bombing. This program highlights the methods used to preserve and care for the items in our possession.

V.I.P. (Violence is Preventable) KIDS' CLUB - Through literature, art, a brief age-appropriate tour and discussion, this program for students in pre-kindergarten through grade three focuses on hope and tolerance.

Group rates are $4 for student groups of 10 or more. One per 10 sponsors in free of charge. Additional sponsors $6 per person
