| Mission & Philosophy/Belief Statements |
Mission Statement:
To provide the highest quality online high school educational experience through a fun, safe, and challenging learning environment, interactive technology, a rigorous curriculum, and individualized attention from our faculty and staff.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
To personalize the educational experience of every student. This is executed by staying in constant contact with each student through phone calls, email, discussions and announcements. Our students often mention they receive more one-on-one attention through our program than in a traditional high school setting. |
Founded in 2001 as a state funded charter school, Primavera received authorization in 2003 to develop an online learning program. The school is now entirely online, and boasting a course completion rate roughly double that of the national average for online programs. Primavera helps thousands of students annually, both full-time and dual-enrolled. |

My short time here at Primavera was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had attending a school. I honestly don't know what I would have done in terms of school if not for Primavera. I couldn't be more delighted with all that Primavera has to offer, and I would like to give a most heart felt “Thank You” from me and my family to everyone who keeps this wonderful school going. --Manuel L.

I am writing this letter to let you know how the Primavera program has impacted my daughter. My 16 year old daughter Aeriel has always struggled in school, and because of this she has always felt she was dumb. This was not true, but no one could convince her of this. In September we pulled her out of her traditional high school program and placed her in Primavera, which may have been one of the best decisions we have ever made for her. One of the first classes she took was a class called “Character Education”. She repeatedly told me about each lesson she completed, and how she could personally relate to each lesson. She felt that each lesson was written specifically for her, and I was amazed at the personal growth she experienced as a result of taking this class. I think all students should be required to take this class, as the material relates so well to the pressures that teenagers face daily. Aeriel is getting the best grades of her life, and she is pleased with herself. -- Jo T. |
