Masters of Their Domain: Little Steel 1750-Present Using an interactive computer mapping program, visitor can search the region to discover what mills used to stand near the Point, Heinz Field, the Strip District and their own homes! A walk through model of the Ohio, Allehgy and Monongahela Rivers reveals the hundreds of mills that served the region. |

Might, Mills and Manpower: using interactive demonstrations and discussions the program discusses Andrew Carnegie and his rise to the titan of industry; the dramatic Battle of Homestead its causes and effects; the process of smelting iron; a hands-on experience with steelworkers clothing; a visit to the Pump House and Water Tower, the site of the 1892 Battle of Homestead, where students what a pump house did and why it was important.
