Program Information

Setting
Woodstock School is set at 7,000 feet in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, offering LOTS of outdoor recreational opportunities. Kodaikanal International School is set at 7,000 feet in the tropical highlands of South India, close to Kerala and remarkable cultural and historic sites.

Highlights
A highlight of the SAGE year is the month-long Winter Tour, a cultural tour of India during the winter vacation. Students travel through the entire country seeing and experiencing things which most "tourists" never do.

School Information

The SAGE Program offers North American high school students in grades 10-12 the unique opportunity to spend an academic semester or year in India at one of two top-rated international schools. Woodstock School is set in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains in North India, and Kodaikanal International School sits in the tropical Palani Hills of South India. Because of both schools' exceptional international curriculum, students receive full high school credit for all courses they take and stay on track for American college or university preparation

Curriculum
Besides academics, students study Indian music or dance, go trekking in the Himalayas, boating on Kerala's famous backwaters, or volunteer for community service at an orphanage or home for street children. These are just a few of the cultural experiences available through the SAGE Program.
