Future Test Information: There is one 25 minute un scored section, known as the variable section. It may be either reading, math or multiple choice. It does not count as the final test, but merely used to try out new questions for future SAT tests.

Testing Information: The first section of the SAT is the essay, with 25 minutes being given. The final section is always a 10 minute multiple choice section. In between there is six minute sections, and two 20 minute sections. Test takers rarely have the same test.
