June 3 through Labor Day 2006 - "Cool Moves - Artistry of Motion" exhibit.
10/7 through 12/30 - "SciWorks Attic" a variety of favorite exhibits owne by SciWorks will be brought out of storage for guests to enjoy. "The Track" will be back!!!

Information

SciWorks has exhibits in physics, natural/biological science, astronomy, natural history, and the health sciences. A state-of-the-art Planetarium offers sky tours, laser shows, and a variety of educational programs for all ages. SciWorks' unique environmental park has a habitat-based nature trail exhibiting the flora and fauna indigenous to North Carolina as well as a barnyard exhibit with goats, sheep, miniature horse, donkey, and black angus cow. SciWorks offers museum programming for all people of all ages. Scout programs, workshops for teachers, workshops for children and special event programs meet a variety of community education needs. SciCamp, a five-day program for children pre-K through rising 5th grade is implemented throughout the summer.
