Focus: Submarine museum display submarine history and artifacts. Hundreds of framed photos and plaques hanging on the walls. Over 35 display cases. Mainly American submarine history, but include history and items from foreign submarines

Major Exhibits
Operational Submarine Periscope which goes out the roof for a great view of the local area. Most modern periscope on public display in the country. Major shipboard items from the submarine USS JAMES K. POLK SSBN-645 on display. Over 100 submarine models on display. Musuem also maintains one of the largest collection of WWII Submarine Patrol Reports in the country, along with files on each American. 4,700 sq-ft of display area. Two floors.

Programs

Class Trip Programs
Organized youth groups are free. Must have adequate adult supervision. Parking for tour buses available 100 yards from museum entrance. Can handle 60 passenger bus. City of St. Marys Waterfront Park is accross the street from the museum providing large grassy area on the St. Marys River to visit. restaurants next door to museum.

Free. Must coordinate prior to your arrival with Gift Shop personnel only to ensure mulitple groups not arriving at the same time.
