Focus: Strawbery Banke Museum is one of our nation's oldest waterfront neighborhoods. The Museum is a 10-acre living history that has preserved the lifestyles and traditions of four centuries of New Englanders. Here you can see 40 buildings - most on their original sites - spanning from the late 1600's to the 1950's. From spare storefronts of colonial merchants to the elegant Georgian-style mansion of Governor Goodwin, from the humble dwellings of early Jewish immigrants to the penny candy counter of the WWII-era Abbott Store, Strawbery Banke tells the stories of a neighborhood over time.
