Areas of Focus: Our goal is to help students and parents find a reliable tutor, and also to help tutors to get clients. It is always FREE to search for and contact a tutor! No charge whatsoever. We also have listed many music teachers and instructors as well as athletics and sports coaches. Our tutors often tutor at the college level as well as elementary and high school.
Pricing: Prices depend on individual tutors. On average our self-employed tutors are a little less than half what you would expect to pay at most tutoring agencies!
Education/Training: Different tutors have different levels of education and certification. Some have Ph.D.'s in their area of study, while others might be highly skilled musicians who love teaching.

(3) Subject: You can select the discipline or topic in which you need a tutor.

Parents & Students: Ask yourself if you think the high price of a tutoring agency is worth what you pay for it. Most of our tutors are self-employed and highly experienced in both their subject matter and tutoring and can provide service at least as good as tutoring agencies. Did you know that often tutors who work for tutoring agencies do not have degrees in their subject matter?

Although we opened in June 2007, we have hundreds of tutors signed up, and the list is growing every day.

If you don't find a tutor that meets your requirements, you can email us for help and suggestions to find a tutor. 

We also have many FREE educational tools and resources (online math & chemistry tools), and also links to resources on other websites.

To be listed as a tutor is only $15 per year, much less than most other similar websites and tutor directories.

In addition to our php website, we also provide tutors with an html page (which is more search engine friendly than php, although not dynamic like the php pages).

We also provide tutors with helpful hints and suggestions of how to build their tutoring business.

If you are truly a good tutor, why work for $10 to $15/hour for a tutoring agency, when you can work for double that amount as a self-employed tutor? Buy cutting out the tutoring agency you also help to save parents and students a great deal of money - Tutoring agencies can be very expensive!

It is not difficult for a skilled tutor to build a reliable clientele and operate a lucrative tutoring service. All it takes is a little effort and time. But it is worth it and gives you a great sense of accomplishment. And best of all, you get to help people to learn!
