I have also created a directory for Montessori Schools whihc will be going live on the site soon. New topics for disorders and disabilities will be included within the next few weeks. Topics include: Deletion 22q13/ Phelan-McDermid syndrome, Diabetes, Schizophrenia. The section on Phelan-McDermind Syndrome will be written by Katy Phelan of the Molecular Pathology Laboratory Network in Maryville, TB. Katy discovered this rare genetic anomaly in May of 1988. K12 Academics is working towards creating a Lesson Plan database. Anybody can post a lesson plan. It will be organized according to grade and topic. The Lesson plan databse will coincide with our detailed education subject topics. Subjects will include: Agricultural, Art, Bilingual, Chemistry, Environmental, Health, History, Language, Mathematics, Music, Performing Arts, Physics, Reading, Religion, Science, Sex Ed. I have been working on creating a National Job database. I have established working relationships with almost every Principal and Superintendent in the U.S. Majority of schools in the U.S. will be posting job openings this summer in the directory. Job listings will be free of charge. If you wish to post a resume you must pay. It will be login only to grant access to the job database. I am also proud to announce K12 Academics is within the top 100,000 web sites. We reached this plateau back in March. Our ranking was 85,015. Currently our U.S. ranking is 146,032. In 2008 I will be starting the K12 Academics Foundation. This National Foundation will be donating money to each State Education Department Bureau for Inner City Education. |
