The School's current 7-acre campus is located in a residential neighborhood of Wheaton , Illinois , and is adjacent to Wheaton College . Plans are underway to break ground later this year for a new school facility in nearby Winfield. The new school will nearly double the current school's square footage on an expansive thirty-five acre parcel. |
The Kaleidoscope program, using the model developed by the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) offers an individualized program to help students with special needs. Classroom teachers and educational therapists work together to ensure that these students work to their full potential. A full-time reading specialist is also available to assist those students in lower elementary grades who experience difficulty in reading. |

State of the art computer lab with 19 student computers, in addition to 38 computers placed in classrooms throughout the school. Computer education is a curricular element for all K-8 students. |
The School offers a wide range of co-curricular activities including athletics (soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track) music (beginning strings and band, concert strings and band, orchestra, choir, jazz ensemble, junior high musical, praise team) interscholastic “Battle of the Books” competition, Mathcounts, spelling and geography bees, speech meets, yearbook, Student Council and community service activities. |

Prospective parents submit application with fee and are interviewed by the Head of School. Student preadmission testing and review of previous academic records are also required for acceptance. |

Wheaton Christian Grammar School enjoys full nonpublic school recognition from the Illinois State Board of Education, and is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). |
Founded by area parents in 1942, WCGS operates under the governance of the Wheaton Society for Christian Instruction, membership in which is open to any interested parents who affirm their agreement with the School's Statement of Faith and who make a minimum yearly financial contribution. |
