Program Information

SUMMER PROGRAMS:
Three to six week options include hiking, sight-seeing, meeting Israelis, and more! Start your trip in Spain , Morocco , Italy , or Poland . Special focus trips, Tikun Olam - Volunteer, Sviva - Environmental, Te'amim - Flavors of Israel. You can even earn community service hours and college credits! Participants come from all over the U.S. , Canada , Great Britain and Israel .

Year Course in Israel
First year of college in Israel ! An extraordinary 9-month volunteer and study program for recent high school graduates. Earn up to a full year of college credits while living, studying and volunteering in a variety of settings and locations. The year is broken down into three sections: community volunteering, Jerusalem academics, and Israeli experience.

Our nine different specialty tracks are geared to cater towards the interests of the individuals who participate in them, and can even help to prepare them for a future university major. Special interest options are: Design, Medical, Culinary Arts, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Athletics, Shevet, Social Action in Ghana , and a Business Track with trips to India and China !

See the world as Year Course goes global with our exciting Olami add-on! Olami brings you face-to-face with the people, politics, history, and culture of the countries that played a pivotal role in the development of the modern state of Israel . Each Olami option includes 4 separate trips to experience the countries in their track. Participants visit Ethiopia , India , Morocco , Greece , Turkey and more!

Shalem is the Orthodox track of Year Course; a religious Zionist year program combining advanced Torah study with substantial volunteer work and active participation in Israeli society.

School Information

School Information:
--Summer: 9-12th graders and recent high school graduates are eligible to apply for Summer Programs. All 11th and 12th graders are eligible to earn 3 college credits.

--Year Course: Recent high school graduates can participate in Year Course and are eligible to earn up to 30 credits.

Curriculum Highlights:
--Summer Programs: 3-5 1/2 months of hiking, sight-seeing, learning, and more! European components available.

--Year Course: A 9-month volunteer and study program in Israel for recent high school graduates. Earn up to 30 credits! More extensive travel options available.

Setting:
--Summer Programs: Israel (trips can begin in Italy and Spain as well).

--Year Course: Israel (short trips abroad during program are available as well).
