Excel High School was founded in 2004 by a group of educators and business professionals with one idea: accredited education should fit the student, not the other way around. Today it is part of Excel Education Systems, alongside Northgate Academy and Washington Technical Institute.

    High school courses are organized into Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Electives, at standard, honors and AP levels. Middle school adds Explorations electives in AI, STEM, careers, computer science, engineering, healthcare and construction, and 8th graders can take courses for high school credit, including American Sign Language, French and Spanish.

    • Up to 75% of graduation credits can transfer from accredited sources.
    • Standard, honors and adult courses require 60% or higher; AP requires 70%.
    • Students can graduate as early as 16 with an SAT score of 1270 or an ACT score of 26.
