Mission Statement:

Mission:
The mission of EdVenture Charter School is to create and operate an innovative educational program that cultivates a nurturing environment. EdVenture is a school to work initiative which prepares young adults with the necessary academic, vocational, and social skills to become responsible and productive citizens.
Vision:
To be the leading program in the State of Florida that motivates students with disabilities who face serious cognitive and emotional challenges to graduate and become contributing members of the community.

Philosophy/Belief Statement:

EdVenture believes all students deserve the chance to reach their potential. We focus on struggling learners through a supportive, student-focused environment. Our multidisciplinary team of professional educators, clinical social workers, and certified behavior technicians are committed to fostering opportunities for growth and development.

We provide extra attention through small classes, direct instruction, and hands-on vocational courses. We also offer post-secondary transition instruction and counseling, as well as comprehensive behavioral health services.

School History:

EdVenture is a not-for-profit public charter high school that serves ESE students between the ages of 14-22 who require more support. Our mission is to create and operate an innovative educational program that cultivates a nurturing environment. Our school-to-work focus prepares young adults for the world by equipping them with the academic, vocational, and social skills they need to become responsible and productive citizens. We were established in 1988 in response to a request from the Palm Beach County School District to better support ESE students who were falling through the cracks. Our "boutique model" puts an emphasis on relationships among students, teachers, parents, and school administrators. Our tightly knit community provides more personalized attention through smaller classes to address individual needs proactively.

Programs and Services:

Our programs provide a path to graduation for students who have struggled in other school settings. Students often come to us lacking confidence and feeling a low sense of self-worth. Through consistency and one-on-one guidance, our expert staff members dismantle these negative belief systems and nurture self-efficacy, grit, and determination.
