Additional Information:
The My First Workout® kit for kids aged 5-10 is a one-stop-shop containing all the necessary ingredients to teach a child how to weight train in the comfort of home, school, or other structured child care setting! If you've ever wondered what exercises a personal trainer would tell you are the best of the best for children or what equipment is ideal for a starter home gym--without the personal trainer price tag-- this kit contains it all!!
The kit contains 8 custom made, kid-sized, classic pieces of equipment including 2 sets of dumbbells, a sand ball, a jump rope, an exercise mat, and a step that also conveniently holds all the rest of the equipment when turned upside down. Additionally, the kit contains a full body exercise program depicted in both video and step-by-step poster format consisting of 13 of the very best exercises to strengthen all the major muscle groups of the body. The program teaches proper lifting technique, form, progression, and how to warm-up, cool-down, and stretch your way to a lifestyle habit of fitness.
The program's creator is a Certfied Personal Trainer with two decades of experience who wrote the kids a special letter to motivate and empower them to use the tools she provided in the kit to stay strong and healthy for life. There is also a special gift that helps kids wipe away the sweaty proof of their good old-fashioned, hard work, and the determination needed to master the skills contained in this one-of-a-kind fitness kits for kids! Kids work at their own pace so this program is ideal for ALL kids of ANY ability.
Once Program 1 is mastered, there are 11 more workouts in the My First Workout® series that progress build off the other programs and include exercises that use three additional pieces of equipment-a resistance band, glider disc, and stability ball (not included in the kit but available on the myfirstwokrout.com website.)
