Setting:

The Camp will be hosted by the Siena School, Silver Spring, MD, June 18 to July 27; Oakwood School, Annandale, VA, June 25 to August 3; and Jemicy School, Owings Mills, MD, July 2 to August 10.
The tutoring is provided in small groups by trained instructors from Lindamood-BellĀ® Learning Processes. Children will also have to come to Georgetown University with a parent for testing and non-invasive MRI brain imaging prior to, half way into, and at the conclusion of the tutoring. Children must attend the full duration of the camp.

Pricing: $300 for all 6 weeks
Activities:

The tutoring in math and reading will be provided in small groups by trained instructors from Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Children who meet criteria to participate will receive daily tutoring (6 hours per day) for 6 weeks (3 weeks of math and 3 weeks of reading intervention) at one of our three hosting locations. Children will also have to come to Georgetown University with a parent for testing and non-invasive MRI brain scans.

Who we are
The Center for the Study of Learning is pleased to offer a summer math and reading camp for children with math problems (dyscalculia), or both reading and math problems (dyslexia and dyscalculia). This camp is part of a federally-funded research study at Georgetown University that is trying to understand the brain of children with math and reading difficulties. The tutoring (180 hours in total) is provided in small groups by trained instructors from Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Children must attend the full duration of the camp. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3:00pm, June 18 to July 27, Siena School, Spring, MD; Monday to Friday 9.00am to 3:30pm, June 25 to August 3 Oakwood School, Annandale, VA; or Monday to Friday 9.00am to 3:30pm, July 2 to August 10 Jemicy School, Owings Mills, MD.
