Purpose of Award: The Vermont Space Grant Consortium is funded in part by a grant from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program to build a research infrastructure within the state, to encourage Vermont students to take more mathematics and sciences courses, and to promote careers in aerospace and other areas related to NASA goals.

Open to high school seniors in Vermont who intend to be enrolled full-time in the following year. Applicant must be enrolled in program relevant to NASA's goals at a Vermont institution. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Three awards designated for Native American applicants; three scholarships designated for Burlington Technical Center Aviation & Technical Center, Aerospace Work Force Development, and Aviation Technical School.
