Program Description:
With Intercultura Costa Rica´s Gap Year Program, you will learn or enhance your Spanish and live with a local family, followed by work experience as a volunteer at one of our cooperating NGOs. You will become fluent in the language, and get to know both city and rural / beach areas of Costa Rica by studying at our two unique and custom-built campuses, You will work 25-40 hours per week in a non-profit in an area of your choice and deepen your language skills. You can choose between social care, teaching, wildlife or conservation projects or combine several placements throughout your stay.
Duration: 4 weeks to 8 months
