Get ready for a journey of self-discovery with ISA's immersive gap program that packs a world of life experience into 12 weeks. See new places, try new things, meet new people and have some fun too! Based in Granada, Spain, Culture, Architecture & Churros: Granada Gap Year blends the freedom and adventure of a gap year with just the right amount of structure, support, and learning, setting you up to reach your full future potential while discovering all that Spain has to offer. A compelling city famous for its rich history, unique Spanish Moor legacy, iconic architecture, Granada continues to attract a vibrant young community drawn to its intimate cafes, student scene, and bohemian vibe. Throughout it all, you'll improve your Spanish, try out a course at the Universidad de Granada alongside university students, volunteer with a local organization, travel to some of the region's most fascinating sites, and more.

Travel Arrangements:

Ground transportation is provided from the airport as long as you arrive during the ISA designated arrival date and time and at the appropriate airport. Upon acceptance into your program, you will receive the "How to Book Your Flight" form which outlines the specific details for airport reception.

Airport reception is not provided for most Intensive Month or J-Term programs.

Visa Requirements:

Visas are required for any Spain programs which are longer than 90 days.

College Credit:

College credit through the host university is offered through this program.
