School History: In September 1952 Archbishop Joseph Hurley's vision of a Central Catholic High School that would accommodate the consolidation of three small Catholic High Schools became a reality. Renamed later that year in honor of the third Bishop of St. Augustine, Bishop Kenny High School has a 68-year tradition of excellence in the Jacksonville community.
