Village Academy Schools seek to educate college-bound students who not only wish to become self-fulfilled individuals but also to function as responsible, compassionate citizens of the world.

Philosophy/Belief Statement: Village Academy believes that a blend of cultural and socioeconomic groups enriches the entire school, and thus, is an international school that seeks to attract a diverse student body. The School's curriculum meets the individual student at his or her level through an advancement through mastery approach. The School's goal is to enroll students who will benefit from the programs offered, and who will contribute to the school community. In selecting students, Village Academy looks for evidence of age-appropriate academic ability, motivation, and potential for personal growth in a cooperative environment. Village Academy seeks to enroll families who want to be with the School for the duration of a student’s education, and thus tries to enroll future alumni. Village Academy admits students of any race, color, creed, religion, sex, or national origin to all privileges, rights, programs, and activities. The School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, or national origin in administration of educational policies, scholarships, or student activity programs. This statement also applies to the School’s personnel and employment policies.
School History: For over three decades, Village Academy has offered gifted and talented students an opportunity to excel in his or her areas of greatest talents and interests. Educating and serving families of students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, Village Academy, formerly a part of the Learning Unlimited International Schools System founded in 1976, opened its current campus in Powell, Ohio in 1990. Since that time, the School has grown into one of the finest independent, private school systems in central Ohio. Village Academy continues to imbue its community with the same mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives instituted from its very beginning.
