Academia Tica in Costa Rica has two campuses in attractive locations. Coronado was the first school opened, set in a small authentic Costa Rican community in the mountains near San José city. 30 minutes in every direction will take you to very different but interesting places: San José downtown with lots of things to do and Coronado's Cloudforest full of untouched landscapes and dense forests to explore. Jacó opened next and it is one of the most visited tourist spots, featuring some of the best waves in the country and great places to eat and go out.

School History:

Academia Tica was established in 1986 as a destination for a growing number of foreign travelers that came to Costa Rica for leisure or work. 20 years later, Academia Tica Jacó opened its doors at an exciting new location following the popular request of Spanish lessons at the beach.

Academia Tica is an Instituto Cervantes Accredited Center and DELE Exam Center. It is also part of touristic organizations as Canatur, Corotur and Cenpac.
