Admissions Requirements:

We’ll Help You Navigate College, So You’ll End up Where You Want to Be

We understand that attending College may be a huge step for you and that all of the admissions information can be a little daunting. That’s why Beal’s Admissions Advisors are here on your behalf, making the process more simple for you. Then you can focus on what matters – seeking career training that will give you a leg up, career-wise and confidence-wise.

What You’ll Need in Order to Apply

When applying to Beal, you must provide a valid high school diploma, GED, or HiSET. You’ll also be required to take the Accuplacer reading comprehension exam (unless you qualify for an exemption). Finally, you need certain vaccines to attend Beal College. The vaccines are to ensure everyone’s safety. Talk to an Admissions Advisor to learn more.

Pursue Your Career Sooner With Rolling Admission

Beal College has a rolling admissions policy, which means you will be considered for acceptance as soon as you submit your admissions application. You must also take an entrance exam if your program requires it (or qualify for an entrance exam exemption). There is a $30 application fee. However, the fee can be waived in some cases. Talk to your Admissions Advisor to learn more.

Tuition and Fees

Everyone wonders how they are going to afford College, but trust us – it’s worth it. You’ll be thankful you invested your time and money as you develop into a professional – that’s how you move ahead in the world! Plus, no one can take that credential away from you once you’ve earned it. Each Degree, Certificate or Diploma program has differing requirements and slightly differing costs. You can discuss the associated costs with your Admissions Advisor, and they’ll connect you with the Financial Aid Office to see if you’re eligible for FAFSA, scholarships, grants or bursaries.

Funding Your Education

We believe that no student should be denied the opportunity to pursue their educational interests because of a lack of financial resources. An interview with the Financial Aid Office can help to assess your financial needs based on the educational costs involved. Your Financial Aid Advisor will tell you about the various educational grants, loans, and scholarships that are available to you.

Visit our Financial Aid page to learn more, or schedule an appointment to meet with a Financial Aid Advisor. Beal College also offers Veterans Benefits for those who have served in the military or for eligible family members.

International Students

Beal College is proud to leave its footprint not just in the state of Maine, but all over the world. As one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the United States, we feel it’s important for all students to have access to quality career training in some of today’s fastest-growing fields. Because of this commitment to worldwide education, we extend enrollment invitations to international students. Beal College is approved by the Student Exchange and Visitor Program for students with F-1 visas and M-1 visas to attend. Find out more in this Guide for Navigating the US Immigration System and the Study in the States websites.

NOTE:  Canadian citizens do not need a visa to enter the U.S. but must have a passport. A student should present the passport, Form I-20 A-B (PDF), and financial documentation at the Canadian/U.S. border.
