Gravitas was launched in 2020 to increase student access to an excellent college prep and character education regardless of their location. Gravitas is the global, online extension of a renowned 100-year-old Christian day and boarding middle and high school called The Stony Brook School (SBS) on Long Island, New York. Gravitas is fully online and accredited. It offers the same excellent Wisdom to Wonder academic approach (with live-instruction classes), teachers, college counseling, and accredited diploma as SBS at a fraction of its cost.
