Detailed Organization Information:

Allegro offers movement classes to children with disabilities in schools and community outreach classes around Charlotte. In class we incorporate costumes, props (like hula-hoop’s and beanbags), and music to allow children with disabilities to learn in a new and fun way. They are able to stretch their muscles and interact with peers. In class our volunteers are paired with a student to act as a “buddy” to the child, helping them learn and participate in class.
