Mission Statement:
To provide children with a natural, higher learning environment to maximize early brain development and future potential.
To provide teachers with a collaborative teaching environment that encourages continual learning and study of children’s development.
To provide parents with a community of families, teachers and specialists to support their learning and growth as parents.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
When children are motivated naturally through their own interest, their learning is more comprehensive and concrete. Everything we do at Foundations is aimed toward developing each child’s internal curiosity and motivation to learn. This is the foundational platform that will propel your child toward success and we believe it’s never too early to begin the progress.
School History:
After evaluating various childcares and schools in the area, Lynn McKinnon, a founder of the school, was left with the feeling that something was missing from the current traditional school/daycare options. As a parent she wanted to feel good every day about going to work. She pictured her children in a care and learning environment that was created to maximize their developmental potential while still having them enjoy being there every day.
Testimomials:
Love this place. I feel so lucky we found them! My kids love it too and always have great things to say about their day and what they’ve learned.
This school is truly amazing, Our daughter thrived in this environment. The administrators and teachers are supportive and truly care.
