Highlights:

We take the students and teachers on a musical journey through time starting with the music of the Big Bands. We talk about the music of the 50's, styles of the 60's, and 70's and end with a current song. We try to show the students how the old music influences the new music of today. We are a band that plays the music live. Some students have never heard a live band.

Mission Statement:

We try to touch all of the students with our music and hope we can spark a dream in them that someday they want to perform music for others.

Philosophy/Belief Statement:

We believe everyone should experience live music, it is good for the soul.

Program History:

We have been performing our "Musical History Tour" since 1999. Performing the program all over St. Louis, in Kansas City and other parts of MO, Wichita KS and in Tennessee.

Testimonials: "Fanfare performs every year for our entire school. they always provide a wonderfully educational, engaging and fun performance for our students and staff. Everyone looks forward to them coming back again and again." Kelly Schokmiller, Principal St. Gabriel School. This high energy performance kept our students excited and engaged. Exposing them to popular music from the past, provided history and had them dancing in their seats. Students and teachers want to know when Fanfare is coming back. Kim Cowell Music teacher Claymont Elementary.
