Description:

The museum's motto: "We inspire our youth by honoring our heroes" is fitting for the only museum in the United States that focuses solely on World War II in the Pacific. Located on nine acres in the hometown of Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz the museum chronicles his life and tells the story of the Pacific War.

Exhibits include tanks, guns, aircraft, a Japanese midget submarine, a hatch from the USS Arizona and many more unique artifacts from World War II in the Pacific
